Improve your tech website

Why do tech companies choose our agency for website projects?

We launched our newly developed website with Kiwi Creative and we could not be more pleased with not only the outcome, but the process. I have to say over the last 21 years in marketing, I’ve been through a number of website build projects. This one went the smoothest by far, and we finished on time. The strategy, execution, design and project management were all excellent. I not only recommend the Kiwi team to others, but I will absolutely use them again in the future!

How we build successful websites

  • Strategic Planning - If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

    Strategic Planning

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

That’s why we dedicate significant time and resources during the first phase of our website process to fully understand your company’s brand, current website performance and wishlist for the future so we can create a site that’s unique to your business goals.

Here’s what happens during the strategic planning phase:

    • Research to review heat mapping, site analytics, competitor websites, surveys and more
    • Kick-off meeting with key stakeholders
    • Sitemap to map out page structure and navigation
    • Low-fidelity wireframes to define the types of reusable blocks that will be available to build pages
  • Content Development

    Content is king.

That’s why we create on-brand, conversion-oriented, search-engine-optimized copy for your site before moving on to design.

Here’s what happens during the content development phase:

    • SEO based on keyword research, including optimized URLs, title tags and meta descriptions
    • Copywriting that reflects your brand, inspires action and is optimized for search engines
    • Editing/proofreading for clarity and technical errors
  • Define personas - Understand precisely who you’re targeting.

    UI/UX Design

With the strategy and content in place, we can move into website design.

This is where we will use your sitemap, real-life copy and design preferences noted in our strategy discussions to create a beautiful and engaging experience for the user.

Here’s what happens during the UI/UX design phase:

    • High-fidelity wireframes to define which blocks go where on each specific page
    • Design kick-off meeting with key stakeholders
    • Homepage concepts shown as desktop and mobile mock-ups
    • Block/template design to show how individual blocks will be styled
  • Development + Buildout - After design, we’re finally ready to start coding your site.

    Development + Buildout

After design, we’re finally ready to start coding your site.

This is the longest individual phase of the website process, but we will keep you up to speed with what’s going on behind the scenes on a regular basis.

Here’s what happens during the development phase:

    • Development of your custom WordPress or HubSpot website, which will be moved to a staging environment for your review
    • Content entry, including text and image uploads to build out individual pages
  • Testing + Launch - After the blocks are developed and pages are built, it’s time to test everything before launch.

    Testing + Launch

After the blocks are developed and pages are built, it’s time to test everything before launch.

Here’s what happens during the testing and launch phase:

    • QA + testing (but you’ll still have a 30-day break/fix period to reporting any bugs)
    • Launch of your website if you’re hosting with us (or on HubSpot, which is self-hosted)
    • Technical SEO for important post-launch tasks, like setting up 301 redirects, submitting the XML sitemap, verifying the Robots.txt file and more
    • Celebration…because launching new website is a big deal! 🎉
