AI inside HubSpot shouldn’t create more noise
Turning on AI features without a plan often creates confusion instead of clarity. Outreach feels generic, data gets cluttered with half-complete insights and support bots frustrate customers instead of helping them.
Without clean data, defined workflows and clear guardrails, AI becomes another feature your team avoids instead of trusts.
Make HubSpot AI work like a real teammate
When AI is aligned to your CRM structure and team processes, it becomes a force multiplier. Support is instant and accurate. Prospecting is timely and relevant. Data fills itself in without manual effort.
Extend that foundation to LLMs like Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT and your team can query their pipeline, surface insights and take action without ever leaving their AI tool of choice.
With the right configuration, HubSpot AI doesn’t just assist your team—it executes alongside them.
FAQs about HubSpot’s Breeze AI
- What makes Breeze different from other AI tools?
Breeze AI is built directly into HubSpot, which means it works from your actual CRM data instead of relying on disconnected tools or generic prompts.
Unlike standalone AI platforms, it understands your contacts, companies, deals, lifecycle stages and engagement history, so responses and automation are contextual, not guesswork.
It’s also designed specifically for revenue teams. Rather than using one-size-fits-all templates, Breeze AI learns from patterns inside your business to improve targeting, personalization and execution across marketing, sales and service.
The result is AI that operates inside your real workflows, drives measurable outcomes and scales with your CRM instead of sitting outside of it.
- What’s the difference between Agents and Assistants?
At the risk of oversimplifying, Assistants help you do work while Agents do the work for you.
In other words, Assistants respond to prompts and support decision-making. Agents execute tasks automatically inside defined workflows.
- What AI features consume HubSpot credits?
Many built-in AI features are currently free, including some enrichment tools and most beta functionality. However, high-usage features like Breeze Agents, AI workflow automation, buyer intent monitoring and Data Studio syncs do consume credits.
Simple actions such as one-time automations or data lookups typically use 10 credits. More complex actions, like an agent monitoring a contact over time or writing an entire content piece from scratch can cost up to 1,000 credits.
To learn more about which features require credits, refer to HubSpot’s Credit Rate Sheet.
- How many AI credits are included in my HubSpot subscription?
Credit allotments depend on your highest-tier HubSpot subscription:
- Starter: 500 credits per month
- Professional: 3,000 credits per month
- Enterprise: 5,000 credits per month
If you use Data Hub or the Customer Platform, monthly credits increase to:
- Professional: 5,000 credits per month
- Enterprise: 10,000 credits per month
Note: you receive credits based on your highest-tier subscription only; credits do not stack across products.
- Do unused AI credits roll over?
No. Credits reset each month and do not roll over.
- What happens when you run out of HubSpot AI credits?
If you have not purchased add-on credit packs, any AI features that require credits will pause until:
-
Your monthly reset date, or
-
You purchase additional credits
This means agents stop running, workflow AI actions won’t execute, buyer intent won’t update and credit-based automations simply wait.
If you have purchased additional HubSpot Credit packs, you have two options:
1. Auto-Upgrade
If you exceed your monthly limit, HubSpot automatically moves you to the next credit tier. Your allowance increases and remains at that higher level for the rest of your contract term.
2. Pay-As-You-Go
You’re charged HubSpot’s current overage rate for credits used beyond your limit. Billing happens monthly and your credit limit resets to normal at the start of the next cycle.
That said, you can also set a maximum credit cap. Once that limit is reached, credit-based features pause until your next reset date or you manually increase the limit.
