Carbon Harvest Energy is a budding, unique, alternative energy and agriculture company. Through a complex, closed-loop system which minimizes waste, they convert landfill methane, which is normally a pollutant, into energy, and use it to power greenhouses and algae farms. The algae is converted to biodiesel fuel, and any extra energy produced with the methane is used to power other buildings or sold back to the grid.
Because of the uniqueness and complexity of their system, Carbon Harvest's main challenge was to explain their process to potential investors using an info graphic. That's where we came in (donning our superhero cape!). Immediacy was key here, so we kept the style very simple. The result was a clean, contemporary and easy-to-understand illustration which quickly explains their process.
We also designed Carbon Harvest's logo, which pays homage to their closed loop system, and other promotional materials, including a brochure and website illustrations.
